At Pestgo we make sure to take into account your particular circumstances so before recommending treatment options we will

E

Identify any live termites on the property

E

Discover (where possible) any termite entry points and areas of termite activity

E

Identify any high risk areas that are attractive to termites (known as conducive conditions) and discuss measures to rectify them

E

Discuss your preferences and needs over the short and long term

E

Assess the site, soil types and suitability for various treatments

E

Recommend appropriate termite management strategies

The Options For Treatment

Termites are silent destroyers, capable of causing extensive damage before you even know they’re there. At Pestgo, we believe that effective termite control starts with a thorough inspection—but it doesn’t end there. Once activity is confirmed, choosing the right treatment is critical to protecting your home or property.

Our Approach to Termite Control

We offer a range of termite treatment options tailored to your property, your environment, and the species of termite involved. Our technicians are highly experienced in all major systems and methods, and we always recommend the most effective and environmentally responsible solution.

Treatment Options We Offer

1. Termite Baiting Systems
These are our preferred method for long-term termite colony elimination. Baiting systems are installed around the perimeter of your property and work by intercepting foraging termites. Once termites are detected, bait is introduced to eliminate the colony.

  • Nemesis Termite Baiting System
Nemesis is our go-to baiting system. It features large-volume timber interceptors and highly palatable bait that termites readily consume. Once enough bait is ingested, the colony collapses. Nemesis stations are versatile, suitable for both in-ground and above-ground use, and are ideal for the termite species most common in Sydney, Camden, Wollondilly, and the Southern Highlands. Australian Owned Company
  • Exterra Termite Baiting System
Similar in function to Nemesis, Exterra uses smaller timber interceptors and the same active ingredient in its bait. While effective, we find Nemesis offers better termite retention and flexibility. American Owned Company

  • Sentricon Always Active
Sentricon stations come pre-loaded with bait and require less frequent monitoring. While convenient, they may not retain termite interest as long as Nemesis, which can be crucial between service intervals and are often more highly priced. American Owned Company

2. Chemical “Barrier”/Treated Zone Treatments
These involve applying a liquid termiticide to the soil around the foundation of your home to create a protective “barrier”. While effective, they require precise application and will involve invasive groundwork, any concrete against the home must be removed to allow access to the soil at the base of the house or holes must be drilled along the perimeter. Some soil types and construction methods used make installation of these “barriers” extremely difficult. We use low-toxicity options where possible to align with our health-centred approach.

3. Dusting and Foaming Treatments
Used for direct treatment of active termite galleries, especially in hard-to-reach areas. These are typically part of a broader management plan and not standalone solutions. The most common use case for both dusts and foams is when there there has been a nest positively located, generally in a cavity such as a hollow tree trunk or a wall cavity and time is of the essence in treatment.

4. Physical Barriers (Pre-Construction)
For new builds or renovations, physical barriers such as stainless steel mesh or chemically treated membranes can be installed to prevent termite entry.

5. Reticulation Systems
These systems allow for the reapplication of termiticides through underground piping, ideal for long-term maintenance of chemical barriers. Pestgo can replenish these systems as necesary.
